Welcome to Annunziata School

Principal Geraldine BookSince its inception in 1985, Annunziata School has partnered with families who have a child trying to navigate the world of education while managing a learning style different than the mainstream.  While there are many amazing Catholic schools throughout our Archdiocese, Annunziata School offers a small, caring environment specifically designed for those children who benefit from a total self-contained classroom lead by dedicated special education teachers.

Besides offering academic instruction, the faculty is committed to journeying with the students as together they develop successful learning strategies. Faith formation, social skills, and a positive respect for self and others are integrated throughout the school day.

God truly gifts our world with children who are loving and giving but who do not experience success in a typical general education setting.  I have been blessed to be a part of Catholic special education in the Archdiocese of St Louis for many years. Repeatedly I see children who join our school family be welcomed, nourished, and challenged to grow into responsible students with long range learning goals.

The financial support and prayers of the Church of the Annunziata parishioners working alongside the Archdiocese of St Louis has resulted in numerous graduates over the years.  Together we thank God for our program and ask Him to continue to lead us in everything we do. I stand beside our wonderful faculty and staff to encourage you to move forward with us in our best efforts to continue to provide an excellent Catholic special education program where children are given the chance to flourish and learn every day.

After prayerful consideration, I invite you to contact us to schedule a tour and observe our faith filled environment with a traditional yet individualized approach to learning. I would love to show you our many improvements over the last few years.

Sincerely,

Geraldine Book

Our Mission

Quality education, success and a living faith for children with special learning needs

Differences are a richness because I have something and you have something else and by putting the two together we have something more beautiful, something greater. Diversity is not something to fear, but is the path to improvement, to be more beautiful and richer.
